Thanks for supporting Crafted by Matt! Because every lamp is produced to order specifically for you, our policy works a little differently than big retailers — here's everything you need to know.
Our 14-Day Guarantee
Every order is covered for 14 days from the day it's delivered. If your lamp arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, contact me at craftedbymatt@hotmail.com within 14 days of delivery and I'll make it right with a replacement or full refund.
If your order hasn't arrived within 45 days of the order date, reach out and I'll either locate the package, send a replacement, or issue a full refund.
Made-to-Order Items (No Change-of-Mind Returns)
Because each lamp is produced to order specifically for you after you place your order, I'm unable to accept returns or exchanges simply because you changed your mind. I want to be upfront about this so there are no surprises. If you're unsure about a lamp, feel free to reach out before ordering.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is damaged, defective, or incorrect, email me at craftedbymatt@hotmail.com within 14 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the item and packaging
- A brief description of the issue
I'll evaluate and either send a replacement or issue a refund — your choice.
Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned:
- All made-to-order lamps (unless damaged, defective, or incorrect)
- Sale or discounted items
- Gift cards
European Union & United Kingdom – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is being shipped into the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt for any reason, in accordance with EU and UK consumer law. The item must be returned in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item is damaged or defective. To exercise this right, email craftedbymatt@hotmail.com within 14 days of delivery.
Exchanges
I don't offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different lamp, the best option is to place a new order.
Refunds
Once I've confirmed your damage claim or received your returned item (if applicable), I'll let you know whether your refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow extra time for your bank or card issuer to post it.
Return Address
Only send items back after contacting me and receiving return instructions — unauthorized returns won't be accepted. The return address will be provided when your return is approved.
